\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOur partner’s Amazon nuts are harvested in the wild, in the heart of the Bolivian Amazon<\/strong>. It is at the foot of hundred-year-old trees, rising to more than 50 m high, that the shells are opened with a machete to extract their nuts.\r\n\r\nThe nuts are then transported to Riberalta, where they are shelled for the most part by hand, which provides employment for about 80 people.\r\n\r\nThe nuts broken during shelling are processed into “chunks”, which provides additional jobs for 15 to 20 people for the cutting stage. All workers are covered by health insurance.\r\n\r\nOnce shelled, the nuts are transported by boat from Bolivia to Europe.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our organic Deglet Nour dates come from Algeria<\/strong>, where our producers uphold an ancestral expertise as “date masters<\/strong>” passed down through their family for seven generations. This profession is on the verge of disappearing in the village, which is why they are committed to ensuring its continuity and preservation for future generations.<\/p>\n

The date palm plantations are located in the heart of the Algerian Sahara, in the historic N\u00e9grine area, an oasis where sustainable irrigation is practiced.<\/strong> The plots are preserved, allowing the maintenance of the natural habitat for thousands of rare insects and animals that contribute to the ecological balance of the oasis. Moreover, the facilities operate on solar energy.<\/p>\n

Date cultivation holds great economic importance in Algeria, representing a significant portion of the country’s agricultural production and exports. Our organic pistachio supply chain is renowned for the exceptional quality of its products. Grown in the heart of Spain<\/strong>, in a region blessed with a warm and dry Mediterranean climate, ideal for pistachio cultivation, our pistachios are the result of unique expertise and a profound respect for the environment.<\/p>\n

The harvest of our pistachios is carried out by nearly 400 producers who are part of a cooperative.<\/strong> They receive dedicated support and advanced technical training, enabling them to continuously enhance the quality of their products<\/strong> while preserving the natural lifecycle of the pistachio trees.<\/p>\n

The producers’ stocks are purchased fairly and transparently, taking market prices into account. This approach ensures an equitable and sustainable relationship with the farmers<\/strong>, who are duly rewarded for their hard work. Following the harvest, the pistachios are carefully dried on-site on the very same day. Almonds are a typical product of Italy. Our partner’s almonds are harvested in Sicily<\/strong>, in a small remote town in the province of Caltanissetta. This region, slightly in altitude, very sunny and surrounded by hills, enjoys ideal climatic and environmental conditions for the cultivation of almond trees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In order to boost its economic activity, the region of Sicily provides land for farmers who want to start a project. This is what allowed Gabriele, our very young almond producer<\/strong>, to start his business in 2019.
