You&#8217;ll be amazed at how quick and easy it is. It&#8217;s also a great zero waste tip as you&#8217;ll be giving a second life to your split pods, the seeds of which you&#8217;ve already used.<\/p><p><strong>Ingredients:<br \/><\/strong><em>For 1 kg of homemade vanilla sugar<\/em><\/p><ul><li>5 split vanilla beans (you have already used the seeds)<\/li><li>1 kg of sugar<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>Place the vanilla beans in a large airtight jar.<\/li><li>Add the sugar and close the jar.<\/li><li>Allow the sugar to soak up the vanilla flavours for at least ten days. Store the jar in a dry place away from light.
