At KASANA, we are committed to sourcing our ingredients sustainably and ethically. The cashews used in our nut butter come from a cooperative of producers in Burkina Faso, ensuring environmentally friendly production and fair working conditions for the farmers.

From the producer to your plate
Our organic cashews are harvested in Burkina Faso by the farmers of the Chouboupi cooperative, with whom we also work for our peanuts and dried mangoes.
They are then shelled locally, creating stable jobs in a rural region and ensuring that more value stays within the country.
The supply chain supports over 200 farmers and employs around 400 workers, 90% of whom are women, while also developing concrete projects to improve the lives of local communities.
