Mango Coconout Energy Balls

Do you know energy balls? They are a healthy and tasty snack made from dried fruit.

Easy to take with you, these little energy balls are an ideal snack to give yourself a boost during a busy day or as part of a sporting activity.

Try our super quick recipe with dried mango.

Ingredients:

For 12 energy balls

  • 100g dried mangoes
  • 10 pitted dates
  • 100g whole cashew nuts
  • 50g grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

   

Preparation:

  1. In a food processor, blend the mangoes and dates into very small pieces.
  2. Add the cashew nuts, turmeric and half the coconut. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water and blend again.
  3. Form into balls and roll in the remaining coconut.
  4. Store your energy balls in an airtight container for a few days.
